The automotive department is absolutely terrible. My son took his car in to have one of his tires checked. It was leaking air. The technician that that drove the car into the shop road/slipped the clutch so bad that there was smoke coming out from under the hood of the car while he was driving it. The department called my son who was in the store to tell him that the car was smoking really bad when they were driving it into the shop. The technician said he did not slip the clutch then later and that there was something very wrong with the car. When they were told that the car had no issues prior to bringing it to Canadian tire they admitted to my son that they had done this and gave him an air freshener to cover up the smell. The car just had a new clutch installed last year. Now according to reliable mechanics that clutch could fail anytime. The store manager refused to do anything about the damage that was caused saying that you can't prove we did any damage. I would give them a negative rating if I could but it wouldn't let me make this post unless I selected at least 1 star.

This particular location is good. Has all the usual products that any CT carries. I find the customer service lacking. The inventory is also never correct. Last phone conversation I has was very awkward. 1 gentleman just put me on hold after I explained what I needed. He did not inform me he was transferring the call to another employee...The next employee I found condescending and not very helpful. Hopefully they can find some better staff for the new location.

The service manager dealing with Tires was great. Quick and a good sense of humor. Excellent service. Apologies I forgot her name.

It's Crappy Tire! What more can I say? All joking aside, excellent place to shop for your retail needs. Knowledgeable staff for the most part. Busy parking lot at times.

I came to this Canadian Tire today after experiencing a flat tire emergency, every staff member I spoke to was very reassuring, helpful, and polite. HUGE shout out to the automotive department staff today, they truly went above and beyond to help me. They were soooo kind and quick to help me. Like I said, they went above and beyond, they saved me and made my day. I can't rave enough about them.
