Great service by Paul in automotive section / required battery systems check was in on a Thursday and he advised they were swamped with customers/ people on holidays etc. advised if it wasn’t an Emergency he could get me in Saturday at 10 am. Once again Paul working this am and recognized me got my vehicle in and checked system/ I believe the mechanic was a Paul also showed me the checks they did and advised my batteries were in good shape and made a couple suggestions as vehicle sitting a lot with diesel fuel prices. CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A SMILE AND VERY EFFICIENT THANKS Paul and Paul

So normally I have really good experiences with staff at Canadian Tire however this time was beyond rude and arrogant! I have never been treated so poorly in my life by ANYONE. I will not be back - ever. I understand that we all have bad days and definitely can take such occurrences into consideration, this however was not one of those times. The woman in question did not smile, nor did she answer my questions at all. I repeated my questions as I thought perhaps she hadn't heard me as she had turned her back on me and started walking away.....When I objected to this behavior and treatment she all of a sudden became saccharin sweet when I complained to another worker and she overheard me as at this point I am fuming. Nope, train your staff better. Truly disappointing and I will be telling everyone that I know about this.

It's a great place to get a wide selection of things but over the years they have cut staff and a lot of stuff that they do have is not very knowledgeable. There's many times I have spent many minutes just trying to find someone in a department to help me. It would be 5 out of 5 stars if they had adequate and knowledgeable staff. 5 out of five for general selection of things, three out of five for the lack of staff and often lack of knowledge.
