Decent products for the most part, but I don't care much for the staff. They always make me feel like they're doing me a favour by serving me. That and the constant ask or personal information at the checkout (which I never give) is VERY off-putting. Plus, when I order something online and subsequently receive an e-mail notification that the item is ready for pick-up at the store, it would be REALLY great if it was actually there when I showed up to get it. A waste of my time!

Love this store! All the stuff you could want for home woodworking and a million other things you would never think of. Make sure you subscribe to their catalogues so you have an easier time deciding what you want/need before getting here and spending hours trying to decide what not to get. Full 5 stars from me!

“What do you want , instant gratification?” Today I was looking for entry level wood carving kit and hoped to speak to a person knowledgeable about the tools . Was told to take a number and speak to the order desk . There was a full display of different tools and the person behind the counter looked at the computer trying to find something for me . I turned back to the tools and left him at the counter. Asked another employee on the floor to open display to look at the gouger wood tool and I had decided on the tools I wanted . She said to take the number from the display and write it down on this form and then ...pull an number at the computer kiosk in front of the counter and they will get it for me . At the counter they found it to be not in stock and I said I’d take the display unit. They said it was not for sale and they could order one in for me . I said , “ok , thanks but not interested and decided to leave when he said “wait we’re not done looking and a second employee said, “what, you want instant gratification?” I stopped and asked him to say again because I couldn’t believe my ears.... he repeated “you want instant gratification?” I said no, I’d like to buy a tool set today “ and my wife tried to explain “we live out of the area”. She left thinking I was going to blow up at the senior citizens that were happy to rip into some whipper snapper . I am not familiar with the business practices of this store but it seems have a client base that enjoys classic mail order logistics . I am not their target demographic and I didn’t feel comfortable paying today to have it sent to my home . I had liked the tool I found and wanted to take it home . I am surprised how many employees there were and how underwhelmed I was with the service. I understand not being able to sell the display model ... the bait and wait technique would never work if the bait was gone .
