I needed to buy cover for my barbecue grill which I had bought from Lowe's two years ago . The cover was totally rotten so I called to see if they still carry it if not tell me what to do. First I called the 800 number , order department . One representative tried to help me but she could . she referred me to one of the stores. so I called this branch talked to the operator. She connected me to garden dept. Someone answered the phone and said she is sorry that is not related to her dept. . she said she will transfer me right dept. but disconnected. I phoned again several times couple of times the operator transferred me but nobody answered. so I just wasted at least 2 hours of my time. then I called another branch which I will review there. Not a good experience.

Good selection but lack of knowledgeable staff. Was told by five separate staff members that store did not carry Gila Window film until I found that ONE GUY who actually knew his store and it's stock and could tell me exactly where to find the product. Suggest a "location training" for front end staff, as I don't know is not a helpful answer. Or at least a book they can look up aisle location in.

Online shopping is efficient as order will arrive quickly and the staff at the pick up desk offers fast service. However there is not much staff to help you out in the store and someone had to be paged twice. Pricing of items like power tools in store is higher than Home Depot but on some other items like tile adhesive and grout they are better than Home Depot. Best to go online for both stores and make a comparison before going to the store

RE: Washer/Dryer Delivery & Installation Service. Lowe's do have amazing deals from time to time but think twice before you purchase appliances that require delivery/installation from them. Here's our experience with them - We bought our washer & dryer here. On the day of the delivery, the delivery guys refused to install them because the store didn't tell us to get the right parts. A little disappointed but it's fine. We headed back to the store right away and had a senior staff helped us pick up the right parts and the stacking kit. The store staff rescheduled the installation on the next day but the delivery team didn't get the message for some reason so we had to wait for an extra day. When the installation guys finally came, they were so unprofessional and tried a million reasons to postpone the installation. First, he claimed a part was missing and then we found it sitting right inside the dryer with the manual. After moving the washer to where it should be, he turned around and yelled at us for not telling him it's a LG machine. Oh my gosh, the logo was bold and clear right in front of his face! I called the store to reflect the experience. The store told me they contracted out all their delivery/installation services. I'm guessing the contractor gets more pay for coming back again? It's just one of the worst shopping shopping experience. We wasted 3 work days because of the rescheduled installation. :(

Staff has little to no experience with the products they sell. If you can find someone to help you. I mostly got confused looks to basic questions about paint choices and lighting. There is one older guy working electrical whose actually spent time on the tools, he was very helpful.
