This store has everything and for the price is unbeatable. I love how its been in their locations for decades. The quality of merchandise is amazing. They style of clothes is trendy and affordable and the shoe and boot selection 👌

It's about as close as you can get to a full Department Store in the downtown area. They have a reasonable selection in the Grocery dept. and they carry a full line of outdoor camping and fishing equipment downstairs. As well as a small selection of Electronics for cell phone chargers, batteries and cables. And some Audio equip. like headphones and accessories. The main floor has a decent selection of clothing that suits the current season for everyone from kids to adults. You won't find everything there but they carry a wide variety of items so you can get by in a pinch. Prices are okay if you watch for sales but it's not a full service dept. store. For that you have to hit the malls which with the exception of a couple on Granville St. are outside of the downtown core. It's Army & Navy just like they have always been. They have entrances on both Hastings and Cordova Street so it's still the biggest thing around.

Amazing staff, friendly atmosphere and specials around the store every time I shop here. I understand the location isn’t ideal but I would never want to change this store.

Love this place! Fantastic selection & great prices! Best one-stop shop in town, sells practically everything, and it's also just a fun and down-to-earth place to shop with lots of great character and friendly staff :)

It's Army & Navy, an institution in the DTES, and a life line for those living paycheck to paycheck. There's a few things missing from this store, but that's to be expected. Staff are friendly, prices are competitive and their hours are decent.
