Was notified by relatives last Wednesday in Ontario they had ordered a basket of Goodies from the Flower Pot for my 93 year old mother and I could expect it to be delivered the next day . This is now Monday and after trying several times to reach them , she asked me to try from this end . I reached the owner who proceeded to tell me how she had Pink Eye and couldn't send out anything she touched. When I questioned her as to why the credit card had been charged and also why the ordering party had never been contacted so they could've chosen to go elsewhere. She then proceeded to blame the hired help , to which I asked if you have help then surely they could have put the basket together. Final outcome is my relatives have now stopped the charge on Visa . After reading the other reviews on here it seems this is common practice and I believe a call to the Better Business Bureau is in order as well.

Ordered flowers for a family friend in the hospital and they never were delivered. No call to indicate a delay or why. It has been up to me ever since to try and get my money back.

The worst ordering experience I have ever had! My credit card was charged immediately however, 9 days later the bouquet still had not been delivered! They phoned to ask if they could delay the delivery by 1 day because they were expecting a fresh shipment of flowers however, 4 days later the delivery still hadn't been done. After another phone call they gave me a delivery day; that day came and went! I ended up calling and requesting a refund and I will never order from The Flower Pot again.

Expensive, but delivered promptly and beautifully arranged.

I highly recommend NOT using this shop! I ordered a fruit basket for a grieving friend and requested delivery, which was supposed to happen 2 days later. The order was charged to my credit card immediately. When my friend still had not received the basket a full week later, I inquired at The Flower Pot and was told "sorry I was away for 6 days and assumed this had been taken care of" -- I gave the person the benefit of the doubt (although I believe a credit card should never be charged until an order is prepared and being sent out!) -- this time I was assured that the basket would be delivered by the close of the week with a further upgrade at no additional charge. The week came and went, still no basket. It is now over a week and a half since the order was placed. It is rather uncomfortable to have to inquire with a grieving friend repeatedly to find out if their gift has arrived. It does lead me to wonder how many people are charged by this store for items that their loved ones never receive. Very sad. I do not have confidence that my order will ever be prepared and delivered so I have asked for a full refund so that I can use another company in order to send my condolences to my dear friend. Another loved one from a different city also tried to send this same friend a flower arrangement through FTD via this same shop and also had to repeatedly inquire before her order was eventually delivered. This is so totally unacceptable. To add insult to injury, I received a "Thank you for your business" auto-generated e-mail from them, even though my friend still remains basket-less! I am not sure if they are intentionally trying to scam people, thinking it is atypical for customers to follow up in these situations, however I do feel that their customer service is atrocious. I will never use this shop again and believe they should be removed from the FTD florist pool. (p.s. I give them zero stars but it won't let me post this review unless I fill one in!!!)
