My tire popped on the connector today and I managed to make it to Canadian tire in Merritt to try and buy a brand new tire and get it mounted and balanced. I walked in not even 5 minutes after the tire shop apparently closed but all the bay doors were open. I walked in hysterically crying and talked to the guy at the tire desk and explained how my 2 almost 3 year old daughter who’s birthday is tomorrow was stuck on the Hwy in the 35 degree weather and that I was about to drop around $300 to get this maybe 20 minute job done and he laughed at me and said we’re closed, you’ll have to call this number and try but they are closed too.. not helpful what so ever and beyond rude, I understand they had just closed but was about to make a fairly large sale for a quick and easy job for a good reason and just left me there stranded. My daughter ended up spending 3-4 hours in the 35’ heat to wait to find someone else to go find them.. I just feel this was bad customer service not on the fact that they wouldn’t do it since they were closed but by how rude the staff member was
