If you need small items for the house they probably have it. But be very wary of prices they show one price on the shelf and try to charge a higher one at the cashier. This is the third time this has happened to me. The cashier's must be part owners as they always insist the till prices are correct , thankfully one of the group that help you was on my side on each occasion. Other than the cashier's everyone is very helpful.

In this day of big box stores, there are, thankfully, still Home Hardware stores, and Blight's is one of the best. You need it. They've got it. And they help you, and they know their products, and you can easily find someone that will help you, unlike Canadian Tire and Home Depot. I always go to Blight's when I need something for the house and I never feel that I paid too much.

Fantastic! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. This is an old school neighborhood hardware store folks....just like the kind of place you went to as a kid with your Dad or Granddad. If they don't have it...they will get it for you or tell you where to find it. It's the furthest thing from those horrible big box stores......

Still the old fashion hardware store so badly missing with the arrival of the Home Depot and other chain outlets. Tremendous selection of hardware stock. Items that you can not find elsewhere. Electrical, plumbing, bathroom and kitchen parts. It is a must destination with a great variety of household merchandise. Worth a visit, check them out.
