This store is always clean. Cozy but never cluttered. The selection is phenomenal, rustic, modern, historic, and all around Adirondacks! We get canning supplies here that we cant find in closer stores. We live 30-45 minutes away, and we make the special trip just to shop. I love it! You'll love it!!!

This place is by far the place to go. It has everything for your camping needs to repair needs to so much more. I have been coming here for over 20 years and to this day it still puts me in awe with what they have to sell. If you are ever in the town of old forge definitely take your family here it's so much more than a hardware store! A+!

Number one place to stop when you're in old forge. You can spend hours wandering through the aisles and seeing all they have. Great book and map room. Lots of odd tools and old spare parts in hardware section.

This place is awesome! A real blast from the past. Anything and everything you are looking for can be found here. Right along with the North country hospitality.

Not just a hardware store. Upstairs you will find beautiful cabin style furniture and end of the season deals. 60% off a Pendleton wool skirt that came home. ;-) If you were thinking of whittling on your Adirondack vacation, you will find a huge assortment of knives from a huge variety of Victorinox to carving knives and sheaths. There is local pottery in the vast cooking section, including tons of fun cookie cutters, enamelware and everything you could need for a camping & local adventure. There are sections for kids, local goodies, the yarn enthusiast, and of course BOOKS, with an entire room dedicated to Adirondack authors and themes. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. A must-visit if your anywhere near Old Forge, NY. If not, visit them on-line.
