Make sure the price that they charge at the cash is the same as advertised. Today, the cashier scanned the item and it came up $8 more than the sign displayed. When I mentioned it, she didn't believe me, so we went back and looked at the sign. Sure enough the sign had the same code. We asked a member of staff to check and he said that the price was for that product but that it was an old sign. He told us to go to the cash again and take the sign with us. We did. Got a different cashier and we explained. Of course, we were treated like we were being difficult but he agreed that the price we expected was the price for the product so he overrode. Meanwhile the female cashier who attended to us first, saw that he had overrode the price and left her cashier, running over in a panic and said, "make sure they brought the right sign!" like again, we were trying to scam them. Fed up with being treated like this, I said, "Excuse me, Miss, but this has now been scanned twice as showing the same code as the price advertised." Immediately, cashiers all around started chirping up saying "well we have to double-check". I think for one thing, it was triple-checked, and secondly, you're the ones advertising a product for one price then charging $8 more, so I think that treating us like we're some kind of fraudsters was completely inappropriate. Given the the inconvenience, I think that one of you could have said something like, "Sorry for the inconvenience" instead of cashiers scowling at us like we were being difficult! You're welcome, Canadian Tire, for twenty years of custom (albeit not in Fredericton!). Check the prices being entered because clearly they display signs with substantially cheaper prices than the ones they will charge. They will treat you like you're in the wrong but in the interests of correct price representation, insist you pay what is advertised. Check the code before going to the cash because they will treat you like you're a criminal if you assert your rights. Displaying lower prices and then saying the sign is out of date and charging more is misrepresentation.

One of my favorite Canadian Tire locations, well stocked, good selection, wide aisles and lots of parking.

Very clean and tidy store. Surprised that us wasn't new. Polite staff. Pkus it has a Mark's Work Warehouse store attached.

Great location with a huge, well organized and maintained selection of products. The store is always very clean and rarely crowded. Mark's Work Warehouse is in the back.
