After only 2 years my kitchen Aid freezer is frosting up and in need of repair. sears Newport gave me a Sears corporate number and Sears corporate gave me a Kitchen Aid number. From one retailer to another the best way to compete in a brick and mortar store is with service and your service sucks. I called Dunnetts in Bangor even though I didn't buy it their and they helped me solve the problem over the phone. Now thats service.

We purchased around $4000 worth of appliances from this store a couple years back, as well as a $1600 lawn mower. We also spent the extra to get the protection plans on all of the appliances. Our fridge has broken 8 times due to various issues! We have had to take 8 days off of work to wait for the repair man to come fix problem after problem. Finally, I had got to my breaking point with the fridge. I called the manufacturer and they told me I needed to deal with the store first. So I went in and talked to the owner Mike, who claimed he was going to look into any way to help me with the 'lemon' fridge we bought. I didn't care if it was even an extended protection at this point, but I just felt that the history of repairs the fridge needed was extreme and that the store should stand behind their product. A couple weeks went by and I heard nothing so I called. He never would return my calls. I left several messages in multiple store locations that he owns. I am extremely unsatisfied with the owners failure to respond to my problem after he said he would look into things. Even if there was no way he could help, he should've followed up with me. Completely unprofessional. I like to shop in my hometown and support the community but I will not be buying another item from this store, EVER!
