Went in to the Mount Pearl NAPA to get a paint match done for an outboard engine. Called ahead of time, the guy sounded like a deadbeat but said that they could do it. Brought it in the next day at 530pm, a half hour before they close. Showed the hood to the guy, who then tells me that I'll have to leave it because he hasn't got the scanner, says that the Freshwater road store has it! So in disbelief I take the hood and leave. Get in my truck and call the Freshwater road store. They say that they don't mix paint anymore and that I'll have to get in touch with the Mount Pearl store! Than I proceeded to ask if they had a scanner, to which he replied yes. Then I asked if it was the one from the mt pearl store, to which he replied, no they have they're own!!! I guess it's just too much trouble to mix paint with only a half hour left to the work day!! Guys/Gals, take your money and go to Auto Choice Parts And Paints!! Much better service and much cheaper too!!!

The store is well stocked and organized but unfortunately they didn't have the part I needed

I had a bad experience with this business. I bought a belt there to replace one that broke on my car. Got it home, took it out of its sleeve to put on my car, only to discover that it was used (and broken). Took it back the next morning (with receipt and packaging), explained the situation and it was clear that the guy at the desk didn't believe my story. He gets the store manager, and together the two of them decide right away that original broken belt off my car (which I had brought in with me, and was in newer condition than the one they sold me the day before) was in fact the one they'd sold me, and I must have broken it myself. In effect they were saying that I was trying to defraud them, without actually using those words. No acknowledgement that they might have sold me a bad belt. The manager eventually agreed to give my money back but continued to imply that I was trying to rip them off, and told me not to come back. Obviously this is not a business that operates on the principle of "the customer is always right". Buyer beware!

Picked up my car today from a tire change over and the battery (brand new 4 months ago) was dead. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service. We have been customers here for 10 years and we will not be back.

If you ask for something they don't carry their reply is "you are the first one asking for this" and no support.
