I like the store and the range of products. The cashiers have always been nice. I am not impressed with the people that work in the individual departments. I am a handy guy with a fair amount of general knowledge and have found my limited knowledge is more than what the "specialists" seem to have. I can speak specifically to the service from the plumbing, electrical and lumber departments. Outside of that I have found that since its opening, like much of the big box DIY stores, the service has declined drastically. Trying to find somebody to help with anything can be a daunting task in itself most times. With that being said I have found the people o the paint department to be very knowledgeable and helpful.

, going to Lowe's is like going to any other hardware store. There is always plenty of selection and the staff is relatively available. The quality of the wood products is average and some products like two-by-fours can be better had at other hardware stores. Yet if you wish to order custom doors or doors in general interior or exterior you will find that Lowe's is by far the more competitive price. For contractors there is the constant 5% discount which is a nice bonus which you don't get that other hardware stores. Overall the store is great.

Took I really long time for a sales representative to even acknowledge us we were buying some very big ticket items that were prepared to spend more than $1000 we asked a representative To help us and they informed us that was not her department but they would send someone. It took three other attempts to actually get a live person. They were very apologetic and offered us a 15 percent off contractors discount

I wish customer service was better. They have soo much low energy. You ask anything, they’ll be like I don’t know. The associates need to be trained and motivated. We bought something and the price went down by 50$ asked if we can get the price adjustment done as we had the receipt ... they said no.. we said so if I return it and then buy it again would that do it.. they said yes... like seriously??? Do the associates even know if they were making sense..
