Very expensive to get a lawn mower serviced - $225 for a service. They are great when you go in to buy something new though. The younger guy in there also loves to argue, but the older gentleman is great.

Rating this place as a 1 is higher than it should be. The 1 guy at the service desk, like others have experienced and mentioned, is rude, obnoxious and ignorant, and could use a Customer Service course. I took my chainsaw to see wheather my broken handle brake was covered under warranty as my warranty was still valid for another 13 months. The 1 guy at the desk (Tony) said "what did you do, leave it in your truck to roll around?" I said of course not!!! I don't even own a truck!!!! I told him I pulled the plastic brake handle to unlock and it broke, and he obviously did not believe me. Anyway, they said they would get back to me but already I knew what the answer was going to be by the way he responded to me. I've seen them both respond to other customers in this same fashion. The other guy (slightly less rude), Peter, called me and told me the handle brake was not covered under warranty, so, I told him I would be in to pick up my chainsaw. 2 minutes later, he called me back and said, "by the way, there is a $55.00 service charge to let me know it wasn't covered under warranty!!!! I ask "why"?, he said "we took it apart to see if my chainsaw was leaking"!!!!!!!!!!!! I told him, I brought chainsaw in to determine if the brake handle was under warranty and did not give the go ahead to take it apart. The plastic handle was broken, you could see it clearly without taking it apart. They decided to take it apart (a cash grab) and I told them there was no need to take it apart to determine if brake handle was covered under warranty!!!! By looking at it, without taking it apart, you tell the customer if the brake handle is either covered under warranty or not......end of story..... I told Silver Mile I will be fixing my brake handle myself, however, they would not give me my chainsaw back unless I paid $55.00...... Anyway, I called STHIL and told them the situation I was in, and thanks to their Customer Service in London, they called Silver Mile and either absorbed the uncessary $55.00 service charge or made a deal with these guys to give me my chainsaw back with a broken brake handle, with no cost to me. STHIL called me and told me to pick up my chainsaw and there would be no charge to me. So, I went in to pick up my chainsaw, the guy (Tony) was so pissed with me because I called Customer Service in London. He said I shouldn't have handled it that way, and I caused a "stir", and he gave me my chainsaw back with a broken brake handle and told me not to come back to the store!!! I've heard them tell another customer in the past the same thing. What they didn't know was I wasn't going back anyway from past experiences I had with them. I would not recommend this store, try another one who will treat you properly and not accuse you of things you didn't do. Crazy. .

Terrible place. I asked for if they had something and they were very rude. Never again will I shop here.

I brought a carburetor in wishing to purchase a new replacement, the guys recommended just having it rebuilt as it was far less expensive so I went that route. 2 days later I was notified it was ready for pick up. Once home, it was reinstalled to the mower. Prime as per regular procedure, one pull to start. Perfect! Thank you Peter, Tony and Rose you guys are great.

Way too overpriced! The guy thinks he's a hot shot! Quoted me 400$ for 2 hrs of work on my Stihl chainsaw! Picked up the parts for 50$ did it myself !
