My review is based on my experience of customer service at this store. Generally, the staff are always new (high turnover?) and hence lack of knowledge on anything. You have to do your own research and pick up the product, not talk to anybody and get out if you want to save aggravation. The staff are always standing in groups at the checkout area and do not offer any help when asked. They can leave this store unmanned and you won't notice any difference! I am serious.

Very bad experience! What a pity, there is no ZERO star. I was told cash only because of their system error, which was understandable. But there were 7-8 staff around the service centre, but why only 1 was working at the cashier? Nobody came out to explain to the long line what's happening. Two days ago, I bought some stuff valued around $40 with lowes' gift card. The card had $50, and the staff took away my card. Seriously? Even a schoolchild can tell that $10 is left. I can accept that a person is unable to compute what's the answer of 50 - 40, but their cashier system monitor displayed the number. So my question is "Can you read?"

Great prices and helpful staff. Hard to find things though.

One star is for the nice and helpful staff. The manager didn't want to help at all over the phone until I personally went into the store and found proofs of their mistakes! The installation was terrible, the installer guy tried to take away things that he thinks we don't need without permission, and we were shipped with missing parts. In addition to that, we were changed extra. The manager tried to be nice and said he will PERSONALLY deal with the problem. He got the installer return the "took away" item and fixed the installation. Thank you and one star for this! He never got back about the missing parts until I have to file a complaint when the customer service called for survey. Another manager took over and promised to order the missing parts. There was supposed to be 2 items, only 1 came and it took forever to come. I figured if this is how they work then there is no point for me to file any further complaints. This is my first time working with Lowe's and I have already given them a chance to fix their mistakes in treating customers, as if they were able to fix the problem in a timely manner, I would give at least 4 stars. However, I ended up being disappointed. Am I going to shop there again? I wouldn't say absolutely no but only if they have a good deal. However, I will try to avoid this store if I can. Again, I am very disappointed with their customer service, especially from such a big company.

Bad customer service in this store. I tried to get help several times on several occasions. All times I ended up wasting my time as no one wanted to help me with the deck designer online app (which is lacking a lot of features and not flexible, and missing parts all the time). Also, No one is ever there at the pro desk or the lumber area desk. I also made an appointment and called lowes for a decking appointment, no on called back. I call lowes management office they open a few complaint cases. But nothing happened, no David didn't call me back and when I call he was always busy. On another occasion I came in for 9 sonotubes for my deck. The rep was very condescending when I wanted 10" tubes. Also, he was trying to avoid helping me from the get go. When I ask about some adjustable post base he gave me a hard time and rudely answered " I dont sell enough of these, you are the only one that asked for this part this summer." Like it's my fault he is out of stock....or not have the part. If you want to sell have some manners. That why one want to come to this store. So ended up going to Home Depot, they had pre cut 4' x 10" tubes. Not like in this store they told me to cut my own 8' tube into two. Lazy guy. Other lowes have it pre-cut. I.e Like the one in markham's east. Nice guys there.
