I have not experienced a more arrogant and rude Home Depot employee until now. I came in the morning so I can be in/out within 10 minutes. Ended up hunting someone down for assistance for more than 15 minutes as the employees are all busy chatting with each other. I finally found Marcus, for assistance. He sighed and complained while walking down to the machine telling me how he’s busy and cannot expect much from him. I brought the wood I purchased and to get it recut. He told me once the wood leaves the store it’s not their problem any more. I said I can pay for the cuts. The entire time he was insulting my ability to measure. He said the machine is used to cut pieces to fit into people’s cars. It is not for custom measurements/cuts - and definitely not for Home Depot to help with home projects like my own. Most of the comments he made started off laughing at my face to belittle me. He advised me to rent out a saw myself and do it. He refused to do all my cuts, even after I said I can pay for cuts. Charged me almost the same price as the wood itself. He kept giving me advice on what I should do next time .. basically so that I don’t create such an inconvenience. At the end I told him he spent more time arguing with me and criticizing me than actually cutting. Marcus made every effort to ruin my experience in this location. I left the store a full hour later! I went to another Home Depot to finish up the cuts he refused to do for me. I almost never want to come back to this store again because of Marcus! But why should be drive out of my way and go elsewhere? I hope he was given the appropriate discipline!

Good location, clean, well stocked and organized. It's always busy very popular location. The service is very good and I have had many good experiences with their paint services, garden department, seasonal, lighting and tool rental. They are also very accommodating if you happen to purchase the wrong item and need to exchange or upgrade depending on the type of project you are doing. They also rent Vans/trucks for large projects that require extensive materials. Definitely worth waiting for their sales if you intend on buying any power tools or paint - they offer many rebate programs throughout the year

A well laid out home renovation centre. Plenty of sales associates available to help unlike Lowes. The weekly specials are always welcome and provide good value. I always find what I am looking for in the store. It would be nice to have a second associate in the paint department on busy Saturday mornings.

It is your regular lumber store like others. Right now August 28 they are having huge in store sales on summer items that are not advertised on flyer. Bbqs are 20% off only the display models. Cushions are 50% off and also some other outdoor furniture. This store is clean and well stocked. There use to be lots of people working there and help was always nearby if needed but now you have to look around to find someone. There is a garden centre which is still open. Their paint brand is on the top of the Consumer Report list of paints. They also sell appliances.

I give it one star because I didn't get any apology/comfort words from the Manager. Here is the whole story (July 6, 2018 about 11 A.M.)... I use the product (attached in photo, latex*ite and Runway from) to seal my drive way every two years. this is the third time. the first basket works fine, you can see the smooth dry out surface. but the second basket, I saw it is kind of watery, then I mixed it for about half hour (every 5 minutes take a break), but after pour it to the drive way, it drove me crazy, you can see the picture. it is either a defect product or just too old stay in the store, for sure. I have to return this messy opened basket (thinking about it as a user). also, I have to wait the drive way dry and clean it again, actually it is a impossible task (too sticky). I did an exchange in this home depot store (I bought it from here!!!) and complained the case, because it messed up my drive way and waste my whole day. I asked the manager if there is a store credit for this case, I got a clean 'NO'. I felt so bad and I feel myself is so cheap.... Maybe the manager is right, from his eyes, I can see what he want to say... this is your problem, you should complain it to factory by myself. their store is perfect, the product does not stay in store too long, we only sell it... ... Just let everyone know what I went through, not a big deal, just feel the manager is so bad (shouldn't be a manager). and I am cheap, I still need go to this store to buy what I have to buy, because I am cheap. just be care of picking the product in this store. Hope it is helpful to everyone.
