In response to Tammy Peterson's review, I would like to clarify a few things. We do appreciate your business, and are sorry that you feel we didn't service your needs. The bedroom furniture that was ordered in for you was shipped by the manufacturer in record time. We understood that you were going to be at your cottage on the weekend, and held a delivery spot for Saturday in the anticipation that your shipment might arrive on Friday, with the strong possibility that it might not, which we communicated with you. The trucking company that brings most of our furniture to our store is not owned by us, so unfortunately, we can't dictate when they deliver shipments to us. It arrived after the weekend, and we promptly scheduled your delivery. We do offer the free service of removing old furniture, equal to what is being purchased. For example, if a washer is purchased, we will take away a washer. If a mattress is purchased, we will take away a mattress, etc... We are not a dumping service and cannot take away more than what we bring, which is what was being requested with six mattresses/posture boards, in addition to the existing beds (which we did remove). We're sorry if that was your assumption, but in no way did we give that impression or mislead you. In addition, we contacted one of the property owners of where you have your cottage, and expressed that you were in need of a service to have those additional pieces removed, and they advised us that they would provide that service for you for a fee. We're hoping you were able to take advantage of that, which would have saved you any unnecessary trips. We do strive to provide exceptional customer service and are disappointed that you feel we did not meet your expectations.

I manage a local resort on Lake of Bays and we use Kelly's Home Furniture for many of our cottage purchases. They have always been a great company to deal with and if there is ever a problem they handle it both promptly and professionally. I would highly recommend the team at Kelly's they are fantastic to work with.

We purchased 2 sets of bunkbeds and 2 full size beds from Kelly's in mid June. We were notified that they would arrive at Kelly's on Friday and delivered to our place on Saturday. This is our cottage, so we have to drive 3 hours to go there. We left for our cottage and received a call that the beds were, in fact, not delivered on Friday and wouldn't be delivered until maybe Tuesday, now they weren't so sure. So we tore down the beds and stacked the frames and mattresses on one wall. We drove home Monday. Tuesday Kelly's called to say they would be delivering that day but they wouldn't be taking the mattresses away, which was a policy they had not told me about previously, when we bought the beds and didn't buy mattresses from them. We asked if they might consider taking them, since this was now a problem for us. Rebecca, the owner told us that Kelly's would not take them, even if we paid for them. She told us that Kelly's was not responsible for the trucking company which they had hired and she felt Kelly's had done everything they could to provide great service. I explained that there was a misunderstanding, and now I had to spend one or possibly two days fixing it. No way. So now today, I am on my way to fix this and she made thousands of dollars, and is in no way, inconvenienced.
