Wow, service over and beyond. If you are looking at electrical, you will be served extremely well. Looking at door bells but a simple recommendation saved me money. Defywill go here for anything I may require in the future.

We always buy paint there. The customer service today was exceptional. The paint dude advised on covarage and shine. This is not their normal behaviour. Generally they don't care and don't want your business but today was excellent!!!!

Purchased an Uberhaus (Rona brand) shower faucet. The handle keeps coming undone after a week and I contacted warranty services and had both the handle and screw replaced - Same problem keeps happening. Only option is to tear open my wall and replace the whole thing AGAIN. Cheap, unreliable junk. Some employees are friendly, but some are rude. I purchased some led bulbs a cpl years ago from the clearance rack. I got home and took them out of the box and discover they are all chewed up and deffective. I brought back and politely explained to the manager (a young blonde lady) who said there is no refunds on clearance items. I politely repeated myself, also stating that they were clearly returned by another buyer who probably damaged them. She took them out of the box to have a better look and saw they were clearly damaged. Her reaction was "they all come like this, it's normal". At this point I was a little annoyed and said she's wrong (in a respectful manner). She got mad and said "fine I'll do the return". She abruptly took the bulbs and literally threw them into the bin. I tried to be polite again and thanked her for returning them, but she just remained unresponsive and immature thereafter. Another time recently I went in the price rang up wrong in which scanning code of practice was not recognized. I went again the next day to buy another item and again the price was wrong and scop was not recogized with even a different employee. Unusual compared to other hardware stores based on personal experience. Hard to keep a store honest when multiple items are ringing in wrong and nothing is being done to be accountable.

I ordered a fridge online for delivery, as it wasn't available in store to purchase. I received a confirmation email that I would be contacted within 72 hours to confirm a delivery date. Four days later, I got an email stating my order had been cancelled. I called customer service right away and was told the product was discontinued. After some discussion, I was forwarded to a manager who basically could do nothing for me. No price match offered on a comparable product, basically just "sorry". No explanation either as to why discontinued product is on their website, or why it took them 4 days to realize this. Terrible customer service. Buyer beware.
