I had a great time visiting this location. It was late at night so there wasn't a lot off staff but the ones who were there were amazingly helpful and they made the visit excellent. I especially want to commend Claudette who went far above and beyond to help me during my visit!

A Google notification popped up on my phone today to ask me to share my experience at the Home Depot yesterday. So here it is: I was so disappointed in the lack of customer service and knowledge of the staff at this home depot. We bought a floor model dishwasher on Friday and were told that it would be ready for pick up on Saturday morning at 6 am when they opened. We came in Saturday morning to pick it up and the dishwasher was not ready for pick up. The first employee was waving around waiting for another employee to help her. The next employee didn't know anything so he went to the employee that ran the appliance department. The employee that runs the department just kept staring at our receipt with the two other employees scratching his head and saying "I don't know". I took them to show which dishwasher it was because it was marked "sold". They were still so very confused on how to remove it and because I started getting upset at the amount of time they had already wasted with us they took off to go get the manager. To expedite things my husband and I took a look and found that there were 2 screws that needed to be removed so he went and got a screw driver from the next department. He came back and we started removing the dishwasher on our own. The manager shows up and says to my husband "I'll take care of that sir". I looked at him and said "how are you going to take care of this? You haven't even come prepared to remove the dishwasher". His answer was "I needed to come and assess what tools were needed." I had to walk away from the situation at this point because it seemed that this was a first for all of the staff and manager that a floor model appliance had been purchased. On top of that, I was upset because the first employee who sold us the dishwasher made it seem that in order to remove the floor model there was a lot of work to be done and made us come back to the store unnecessarily for the removal of two screws. I was not pleased at all.

Absolute WORST home depot I've been too!! There was zero staff to be found for help! So bad that I literally called the store, while in the store to attempt for assistance and had to call back 5 TIMES before actually getting someone on the line?!! Then when someone FINALLY came, they didn't know what they were doing and instead of cutting my boards to the size I needed, just scratched one and then said he couldn't do it sorry....just awful!! I HIGHLY recommended driving to the home depot at eglinton and laird - they are great!!
