This place is great. Way more fun than expected. The drive in from 6 is beautiful. The store is full of cool hardware and tools you don't typically see, and the operational water powered mill is really interesting to check out. They let you walk around inside and see how it actually works. A lot of fun.

Maybe the most unique woodworking related store in Ontario. So many machinery brands to choose from, definitely priced competitively. Customer service is amazing. I am not affiliated in any way, I think Welbeck Sawmill is a destination and a store. Also a lot of stuff for country living, wood stoves, logging supplies, above ordinary building supplies. Check this place out!!

Welbeck Sawmill is a long time local family business located in a lovely rural setting North of Durham Ontario. There is no big box store atmosphere here. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are kind , curtious and extremely knowledgeable. Their stock of woodworking tools and accessories is outstanding. Much of their building materials are stored indoors and are of high quality. There is something for everyone here. Worth the drive every time. Ray Martin

Excellent Store..Bonnie has tons of knowledge on all your building and home improvment requirements. Ask a question and she has the answer and suggestions on the right material needed. A little off the beaten path but worth a visit.

Excellent source of hight quality wood for furniture and construction, as well as other building materials. Old fashioned woodworking tools not found anywhere else, top of the line machinery and tools, wood burning stoves, great selection of paints and stains. Last but not least, this is a place where sales staff has broad knowledge of the stuff they sell. Highly recommended!
