A bit more pricey than the larger hardware chains but, can you put a price on friendly and hard working individuals who seem happy to assist as opposed to searching for someone that is barely willing to tell you an aisle number? I enjoy shopping here for most products. Not to mention the convenience of residing near by.

Not happy with new check policy at Lumber Jack, as a independent contractor spent over $5,500 in cabinets and they changed policy on check acceptance from when we made the order deposit. Funds were available and then we were tracked down later after they accepted the check that telecheck will not accept check. So hassle of then going back to process credit card etc. to resolve this order. As a follow up in calling the processing site they confirmed the check was good and usualable with no reason as to what the store rejected it. Ask for LJ Manager to calll no call back or none from LJ Corp when called them. Being treated this way does leave a good taste in your mouth because of change in how checks are processed. Last cent Lumber Jack will ever see from me. At least the Big Box Hardware Stores in town have no problem accepting my money, so they will get my business from now on.

Prices tend to be higher and they do have fewer choices then your bigger hardware superstores but if you need something quick or don't want to drive it will work.

Helpful personal staff from a local hardware store. Cost is a little higher than the bigger chains but is forgotten with the quick service a and being local to the small town of Marysville.
