I just want to warn people, I went there to buy a part and the bin may have said $1.99 but that wasn't going to stop them from charging me $2.79. The girl insisted that the price had changed and they didn't have time to put up the new labels yet on the bins. I had to explain to her several times that the price on the shelf is the price, not the one in the register. #MIscannerlaw

Very helpful and understanding. You don't get this kind of service at big box stores.

Hardware stores are for "Do it Yourself" projects. At the massive chain stores, I find myself roaming aimlessly Isle to Isle, wondering how to accomplish my project. At Lumberjack in St. Clair, the staff are the friendliest and helpful you will find around the area. I've never been there when it seemed they were too busy or under staffed. One other thing. We have found some of the most unique items there. My wife picked up a near life size nativity set of very high quality. There are always little surprises that you wouldn't expect at a hardware store. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
