A big thank you to Jackie and April at the customer service desk. A couple of months ago, they helped sort out a problem I was having with a newly acquired Triangle card that replaced my previous Cdn. Tire rewards card. I was having issues using my reward $ towards a purchase and was referred by the cashier to the customer service desk. They had to make a call to the head office to resolve the issue. Despite arguments by the lady at the head office to whom they spoke, they were persistent in what needed to be done. When all was said and done, their persistence paid off. Jackie and April knew what had to be done despite the lady at head office trying to discourage me from transferring my Canadian Tire Points card to the new Triangle card and this, during the period where the new Triangle card was in its initial promotion period. They were kind enough to refund all of the items on my purchase and ring them back in to ensure I was able to apply the reward $ that I wanted to use as the amount was substantial and greatly reduced my out of pocket expense that day. We have vacationed in the Espanola area for the past 3 summers and find the staff at this store to be friendly overall. Jackie and April however were most helpful that they and it was truly appreciate.

This is one of the most logically laid out Canadian Tire stores I have been in. Automotive parts? Right next to the repair shop. Camping supplies? Right next to sporting goods. An outdoors outfitter store with equipment not found in a lot of outfitter shops. Plus the usual selection of household goods and tools needed to run your house or keep your vehicle, trailer or boat in top running condition.

I called ahead to make sure what I needed was in stock and was told that "the store is too busy right now" and the girl couldn't help me. When I finally got through to someone who could tell me if they had what I needed, I went to pick it up and cashed out with a very rude cashier. It was clear she didn't want to be there and didnt even greet me with a hello. I felt like I was a burden on her even though its literally her only job to smile, be pleasant and cash me out. The only thing she said the entire time was "want a bag?" I think I'll look elsewhere for my parts before going back unless I have to.
