Not sure what's going on with this store. I shop here a couple times a month but am looking for alternative places to shop. There's a huge number of bins of items in the isles. Most of the items appear to be regular price. I'd rather see items in their proper isles. The bins make the store appear very messy. Quite a few shopping carts are in poor condition and don't work well. It's a discount look without the low prices which takes away from the upgrades that were done. I was hoping the bins would be emptied after the renovation. I've looked up several items online that the website said were in stock and was unable to find them in the store. The customer computer at store entrance will tell you what isle an item is in providing it isn't in a bin or isle display. I even bought an item online to pick up to pick up the next day. When I checked my email later, the purchase had been refunded. Since it was a portable heater needed because our furnace had quit, I ended up buying a couple from another store in town. The one time I successfully ordered items and paid online, I got the impression I was inconveniencing staff when I went to pick up my purchase. Lack of in store WiFi is annoying. Not sure if they have public washrooms or not as I haven't seen signs for any. These would be good services to have. I'm extremely disappointed that this Canadian Tire Dealer does not allow people to bring pets in the store when most other locations have. This is needed in summer especially when a pet can easily overheat in a hot vehicle. Police will be called if someone suspects a pet is in distress so this matters to taxpayers too. The automotive centre staff here have always been helpful installing wiper blades. Gas+ is convenient and now has pay at pump feature, good hours. Website will tell you what isle a product is in in store if it's not in a bin, and may tell you if it's in stock. Website has helpful email alerts for products when they go on sale if you put them on a watch list. You can also have a list of favourite products. There are issues seeing some lists on a mobile device.

Since the store was Renovated WOW!!! Spectacular job people! The store seems MUCH LARGER has more to offer better layout. The Cashier lines are new ONE LINE goes into the many tills that are open. Last year if you ordered something online there were NO signs ANYWHERE telling you how to proceed. Now as you enter the store there is immediately a sign pointing to Online purchase "go here' . Large garden and camping area. Come check it out

Good selection of merchandise but good luck finding on floor staff to help you. Available staff, if you find one, are courteous and helpful. In the tool section most things are kept in locked displays, even cheap drill bits. Once your item is out of the locked display the (endangered) staff have to escort you to the cash register.

The staff was super friendly and had no issues helping direct us where we needed to go to find the items we were looking for. Absolutely love how they have the Registers set up now much more efficient than in previous years.

Good selection at this store. I also tend to find quite a few items on sale at the St Thomas store but not the london stores. They are usually unadvertised and a great surprise. The credit card sales reports are always running around the store trying to get people to sign up which is pretty annoying. Some are pretty persistent too.
