Awesome store, with what appears to go on forever. This would definitely be the first choice for any machines components. Noticed that some prices were better than amazon.

Amazing place, definitely the best tool store in London (over Lee Valley and others) and the best over all the ones in the GTA as well - as they will get virtually any product and match any price including Amazon's which is insane - no other store competes with amazon as they don't have overhead and no retail stores. Also, great group of guys that work there, willing to help, find, offer advice, not snobby and unknowledgeable like staff at Lee Valley (despite that store having unique good quality product for most of the time a reasonable price too). But Federated has almost every tool that Lee Valley does and way more, shop tools and everything, and for a much better price. They also do tool swaps if they are in good condition, or discounts if you get more than one tool. Finally, they have unique or old stock tools that are made in germany, japan, states that no other store carries or can order for a competitive rate. The only store i shop at for tools, if i can find them at Federated.

Great store with most everything you need. The really short balding fellow with glasses is one of the most arrogant and Napoleonic customer service people you may ever meet in your life. Whether he is belittling a customer, a fellow staff member, or someone one the phone, you can be rest assured he's always on his A-game. The good news is that he really knows his stuff. Just be prepared to be made to feel like a complete idiot.

I’ve had some great luck here. Good tools and knowledgeable staff.

I love this place. Always my go-to for tools. If I can find it at Federated, they will always have my business. Fantastic, knowledgeable staff, great selection of both high end and economy brand tools - so if you don't NEED the best, you dont have to buy it (unlike Lee Valley for example), but if you do want the top brands, they have those as well. I have gotten to know most of the staff by name now, and you really feel like an important customer when you go in there. Jon, David, Richard, Mark, Mike and everyone else are great to work with and go over and above to help you find what you need. Its great to have this store in the neighbourhood!
