I've been going to Canadian Tire since early childhood so I have a soft spot for the chain. The Bay/Dundas location is two floors and organized. The manager Randy has been working hard these past years to improve the layout and service and the improvements are noticeable. He's so much better than Joe. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. There are still floor workers with bad attitudes who don't know where anything is but they're now the minority. I enjoy this location.

If you're living downtown, the location of this store is too convenient. Forewarning they don't sharpen knives for you. A store policy but otherwise great stuff here and everyone who works here is a gent and lady from my years coming through.

I have consistently found this to be one of the least well stocked Canadian Tires that I've ever been to. The staff either don't know, it's "not their department," or just uninterested in helping. Go to any other location if you can.

When this location first opened it was a great store with a nice layout. But in recent years it's gone very far downhill. The new approach seems to be to squeeze in as much inventory as possible and it's now like shopping in a maze. The windows have all been sealed off and covered with shelves. It's not a pleasant place to shop like some of their other locations. You'll want to get your stuff and get out as quickly as possible.

I've always been able to find what I'm looking for at this Canadian Tire. They have good sales sometimes on a variety of different things. Cheaper than Home Depot for some things, more expensive for others. I don't like how they have people walking around trying to sell you a credit card. That's really annoying. Even if you tell them no immediately, they won't leave you alone.
