Terrible owner refused to sell me the part I needed unless I brought him my broken one to prove it was really broken. I didn't even buy it from him in the first place. He said my "type" tried to get refunds on broken parts that weren't really broken. But I just wanted him to sell it, not refund anything! He showed me the part then just refused! I suffer from terrible arthritis and he wanted me to walk home, grab the part, and return to show him first... For a damned toilet flow regulator! $8! I offered him $10 if he would just sell it to me but he still refused. No idea why! He's old and confused, but that's no excuse to cast aspersions at customers -- though to be fair I am not a customer because he refused to sell the regulator to "my type". Time to retire. You'll be sorry if you enter his chaotic shop! He was rude and unhelpful to a disabled man! Unthinkable in modern Montreal! I've never received such rude service in my life. If I could rate with negative stars I would!

I got there knowing exactly what I wanted. Instead of telling me he didn't have it, like in any normal person, the old senile guy told me I didn't know anything and tried to sell me the crap he had in store. I said I didn't want it because what he had wasn't good enough for my needs and he started insulting me telling me he was in business for 80 years or what not. Well... It may be 80 years sir, but you've yet to learn how give a good customer experience. Very unpleasant experience. Not recommended.
