The service was very slow. We waited 20 minutes for a TV to be brought from the back. The sales associate was very lack luster. Other sales staff passed by us and made quick eye contact and kept going. Not one staff member asked us if we needed help. We had search for help and have some one paged. They paged out the wrong aisle. The only bonus of the stop was a great price on the TV.

The store is like all other Canadian tires as far as product and price, reasonable with great stock... the customer service seems rather lacking. The few staff members in the departments are not their at all, or talking to the other employees planning out after hour weekend fun. Then after you pay at the till (with only 1 or 2 open when busy) you have to stand in line waiting for a grumpy person to check your bag to make sure you're not stealing.... should not take 35 minutes to walk and and buy 2 products... :/

This is regarding their Service Department. This place is a sham. My wife took our Toyota Tundra in to get a slow leak on one of the tire look at. The diagnostic from their service technician. The leak cannot be patch and the other 3 tires need to be replaced. The cost would be over $2000. What!!! I immediately told her to take the truck to OK Tire and see what they have to say. The tires were all fine and the slow leak was patched. Cost $45. Lessons learned. Never take your vehicle to Canadian Tire for any kind of service. You have been warned.

They were testing car wax and cleaner in the parking lot. That would be fine but the spray called for gloves and safety glasses. None were given to the demo person by the store nor did she realise she needed them. She had been doing it for 2 years. The label said it lasted 3 months, a very strong chemical. Someone needs to be reminded that safety needs to come first. Look out for your workers it's part of your responsibility.

Canadian Tire Confederation is more interested in send sales to the the Preston crossing location. I entered looking for a car port advertised and could not find, so I went to customer service and was I could not get a raincheck and go somewhere else. Nice way to keep customers coming back.
