I like Canadian tire for the wide variety of things you can find there and they have some decent sale prices from time to time. But I will no longer buy auto parts from them or any of the other local parts stores. 80% of the stuff I need isn't kept in stock and if I'm going to wait for a week to get what I want I'll order it online have it shipped right to me and still save money. You either get ripped off by taking your vehicle to a mechanic or the parts stores try to rip you off. I would understand if you highly paid, knowledgeable and helpful people working the parts counter. But you don't.

Bought winter tires for our F250 2 yrs ago. Was pressured a little to get their extra warranty for replacement value. ($50ish for four truck tires.) Well, today had a flat that was not repairable. New tire's tread depth wouldn't match the other three so getting four new tires on that warranty. Costs about 250+ for installation with a renewed warranty. SMOKIN' DEAL!!! Saving about $1200 for new tires. Thanks for the "gentle pressure" to get the warranty! I normally refuse warranties but sure glad to have this one. Excellent customer service too! Got me in right away. It IS the off season for tires but still appreciate it. :)

Saw a great deal on a floor jack today as I was working on the truck. Came in on Canada day and after wandering around the store for a bit found the jack. Almost was at the point of asking for help as it wasn't where I thought it would be but I found it eventually. Checkout girl was very nice and quick. Would have given 5 🌟 if the darn thing was easier to find

It's your basic Canadian Tire store. It does have a huge parking lot and the spaces are a good size. It's easy to get in and out of thre parking lot. I find that at this location, North Albert, usually has everything in stock that the website says it has.
