I absolutely love coming to this location! My favourite part about shopping here is the fact that I can spend a lot of time discussing with the staff about proper care for my Betta fish. Rachel is so knowledgeable and has been an absolute gem! I cannot thank her enough for going above and beyond for me when I was thinking about purchasing a Betta fish. She knew I had my heart set on a couple of different bettas and I was struggling with trying to make a decision so she gave me the option to have them put in the back for a few days so that I could make up my mind. When I went back after making my final decision, Rachel was working again and helped me tremendously with all of the questions I had and even walked me up to the till. I love receiving customer service like that because it makes the shopping experience so much more enjoyable for the next time you want to go in. Give this beautiful human a raise, because she is so helpful every single time I go into the store!

I am only commenting on the fish department. How is it possible to be in the fish area for 10 minutes and not be greeted by anyone? When I found a staff member (sitting in the office with plain view of the aquatic area), she was visibly annoyed to be bothered and retreated to the office as soon as she could. Aquariums have been a hobby for decades and you generally find passionate people working in the industry. We are picking up a puppy later this week and will not think of going to Petland for any of our canine pet needs based my experience in the fish department. We won’t return for supplies for our lizard, turtle or hedgehog either. I can appreciate that it may be difficult to find engaged employees in retail. Perhaps management can make an effort to hire people who will enjoy working in a pet appreciating environment. Otherwise, the store is clean, shelves were stocked and there are exotic birds and standard reptiles available.

This is my favourite petland location to visit! Everything is clean and the staff are all incredibly helpful. The ladies in the fish department are knowledgeable and I can trust them to give me good advice. Love bringing my kids here to teach them the importance of caring for animals, thanks for being awesome guys!

Helpful staff. Lots of great deals. Always find what I'm looking for. Got our pets from there and they were in great health and still are.

Good pet store right next to my house. The prices can be quite a bit higher than Pet Smart though!
