Came in to use the self serve dog washing station but you wouldn't let me because you were closing soon. I get it that I came in 10 minutes before you closed but by the time you finished your cash out I would have been done. My dog was covered in algae and I wanted to pay to use your facilities so my house wouldn't get covered in the stuff. Thanks for nothing.

Showed up at 8:20pm tonight to bath our dog. We told the lady at the counter we would be quick she responds "No its already been cleaned. The bath station is closed." The pet value is opened until 9pm. she was rude and snotty. Worst customer service. We advise everyone to avoid this location and go to the one on baseline where the staff is always extremely friendly and willing to help. This is the second time we came to tge Emerald location abd had terrible experiences both time. We will not be back!

I've been a loyal shopper at pet valu for over 5 years. I've never experienced such horrible service as have today! I purchased clearance winter boots for my dog at the Rabbit Hill location and was told if they didn't fit, I was able to return or exchange for another pair. I confirmed they were able to exchange or return the boots, which they did confirm. Unfortunately, they did not fit my dog properly and kept falling off. As I live closer to the Emerald Hills location, I went there today to exchange the boots and was told they couldn't return the boots and if I wanted to exchange them, I would have to pay the difference. The woman seemed less then enthusiastic to even help me and also seemed annoyed that I was asking to exchange the boots. So I ended up leaving with the boots that don't fit my dog, which will now sit in my house collecting dust and I will never shop at pet valu again due to this experience. I understand there are polices to follow but given that I have a long history with pet valu, they should be able to make exceptions. I worked in retail for over ten years and have made exceptions many times, when it was passed the return policy because I knew in the long run, that customer would come back and remain loyal. That's how you keep customers returning. Everything is not always black and white there is gray area. Pet Valu needs to remember there are other pet stores out there, I don't need to give you my business... And now you have lost my business.

Good store the owner is very friendly and is very helpful. I hurt my back and she carried my dog food and kitty litter out to my vehicle for me.their store brand food is excellent quality. My dog had a rash on his chin and it has since gone away most likely the dog food he was on. Best place in sherwood park for service! Thanks pet valu!!

Staff and owner are unbelievably helpful. My boyfriend found a kitten in the parking lot across the street from the Pet Value. When he finally caught her he realized she was in extremely rough shape, she was filthy. Her ears were black, the bottoms of her paws were ripped up, nose was skinned, and she was extremely malnourished. Not knowing what to do, he brought her into the Pet Value. The owner and her staff cleaned her ears, cut her nails, washed her, bandaged her feet AND they gave him a bag of FREE stuff; bandages, kitten food, antibiotic spray, cat-milk, ETC. Needless to say, we will be permanently faithful to shopping at this business/location and we'll be spreading the word on how kind and helpful the owner/staff are. I would rate 10 stars if I could! :)
