I live out of town (~6 hours away), and upon buying some fish and explaining my situation, i was provided with an sterile foam box with the fish in it and was packed by an associate. The fish made it fine and i couldn't be any happier for the service and purchase of healthy fish. 10/10 and i will be a long customer, products are also available online which makes it easier to restock.

Good service and decent return or replacement policy. We did get some guppies here that died within 5 days due to ich, but were given replacements with little to no hassle. We also noted when we were there that the guppies we had purchased were no longer ready for sale as they were undergoing treatment: a lot of regular pet stores would continue to sell the sick fish but Big Al's is better than that. Go to for fish lovers, and seeing their beautiful shark is always a plus.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The shark feeding was amazing! My nephew really enjoyed it (and so did my brother and I). A nice guy fed other fish and the stingrays, which we also enjoyed. Comparatively, pretty good prices and awesome selection! 😊

Saltwater for the masses. Not a speciality store but have lots of stock and obviously buying power so prices are good. Livestock generally seems healthy and there is surprisingly good selection most days.
