THE WORST PLACE ON THE PLANET!!!! I cannot give a low enough review. I just adopted the most amazing kitten from here. But I have never seen a more sick animal. He is half the weight he should be, he has cat herpes, and had almost none of his shots. And he was born there! The people were no help they gave me no medical records and they gave me the wrong age which can impact his shots and neutering. If you want to save an animal from a horrible place this is the place to go to. They will be paying for all the bills because my cat is sick because of them!

The place puts up a good front. Looks clean and the animals seem ok but we just got our kitten there a week ago and he is very sick. Firstly they lied about his age. His paperwork said 11 weeks but our vet says he's actually 17 weeks old. Secondly he apparently has a form of animal herpes and he was missing 3 shots he should have received within weeks of his birth ( he was born at the shelter). He has diarrhea and sneezes and drips snot. His bum had dried feces on it and was bleeding. The medical records they gave us for him were completely blank despite the fact that he was born there. It's now been a week since we got him and he is still not much better. This is a disgusting establishment. Be very careful when you rescue an animal from here if you don't have the money for lots of vet Bill's and the time to take care of a sick pet.

If you have a concern about a possibly neglected animal, do not call these people. They do not help. I was told it is not in the bi-law to check out an animal in a possible harmful situation. It is over 30 degrees outside and an animal has no shade or water, tied up outside the front of a house. Maybe just a "courtesy" call could be done to help out the animal? I was told to contact Alberta SPCA...who knows how long they will take to look into the sitch...boo to you guys

Great place to hang out with cats and walk dogs!

They are the only organization I adopt animals from. Very friendly staff and they go out of their way to find to get adopted pet to your place if you do not have a vehicle. They are easy to adopt from especially for first and second time pet owners. Their adoption fees are reasonable
