I have been taking my dogs to Janet for 12 years and would not take them to anyone else. When I first moved into the area I asked my new neighbours if they knew of any groomers nearby. They said they had been taking their dogs to Janet and highly recommended her. I started taking my two senior dogs, a border collie cross with bad arthritis and a poodle cross, to her and was to thrilled to find a good groomer. She was great with the dogs, taking extra care with my arthritic furry friend, and they always looked fabulous after their grooming. When I adopted two new poodle cross puppies they of course started going to Janet too. They are shy around other people but Janet goes out of her way to give them positive reinforcement and make them feel comfortable. Like my previous dogs they also look fabulous after their grooming. If you are looking for an awesome groomer go see Janet!!

I have been using Janet for 10 years now. When I first started coming I had a 180 lb St.Bernard. I would stay and help Janet with him because of his size and weight. Now I have a shepherd/collie mix and I drop and go while she grooms. Both of my dogs were/are submissive and react best to gentle, supportive coaching but still need to know who the alpha is in the room. Janet does just that with a firm but loving hand and disposition. Both my dogs would go in like a lump of dirty black coal and come out like a shining diamond! We love how soft and shiny his coat is and how long it stays like that. I'll keep going to Janet as long as I have pets to take to her! Thanks Janet!

I've been tàking my dogs to Janet for 11 years and she always does a fabulous job reassuring me that my dog is in good hands. Dexter wasn't thrilled to be groomed but he was always happy to see her even at the off leash dog park. When my poodle terrier died last November I didn't hesitate to take my new puppy to her. She and I came up with a super cute cut for Paisley, my Havanese poodle cross. Yes, it takes me 30 minutes to get to her place, but the drive is fine when I know the my "baby" is such good hands, even if she must wear the cone of shame because her mouth of teeth get in the way. I would recommend JJ's Dog Grooming to anyone who has a problem handing their pup to some impersonal chain groomer.
