Great company. Been grooming my dog for 8 years. Always a great joh

Been taking my dog there for the past year. I give them credit for cutting so well on my dog. However, my recent visit would be the last one. As I arrived early waiting for my dog, they were not impressed with me showing up early despite I kept repeating myself that "please take your time, I am not here to rush as I only had finished errands early that day and I live down south and didn't feel like driving back to pick up my dog". Anyhow, while I was there, I heard the dogs squealing and barking and whimpering...I wasn't sure what's going on, and I heard one lady yelled out loud to the dogs "shut up, that's enough". What really frustrated me the most was, one old gentleman came in to pick up his dog and one of the ladies came out saying " I cut the tip of your dog's tongue off, and he's fine just still bleeding, also it's not our fault, cuz when we were a, the dog licked the scissors". I felt really sick after I heard her response and the poor old man never said a single word and kept his head down the entire time. I believe that they have a growing number of customers because of their skills, but as a dog owner, I cannot appreciate the way dogs are treated there for a few hours with no caring and loving.

I took my 14 year old dog here for the first time instead of the groomer at her veterinarians office because they had good reviews and are 5 blocks our home. I dropped her off at 10am and was told she would be ready around 1 or 2pm. I called at 1:45 and they said she would be ready at 2:00. Upon arrival, no one was at the front desk. I heard someone very frustrated and anxious telling a dog to stop squirming in a not so kind or caring tone or voice. My heart sank. I rang their dinger and someone came out front and told me she would be a few more minutes. I waited outside for 15 but went back in to hear more of the same. Finally she came out. The lady was clearly frustrated. I paid and left. My dog drank water for at least 5 minutes straight upon getting home 5 blocks away. She has been sad, tired and lethargic for the rest of the afternoon and night. Her hearing was at about 60% when I left her. Now it's about 2%. I understand that my dog is a senior and her back legs arent great. I understand that maybe people get frustrated. But in no way do I understand the way she was being spoken to , obviously not given water, and God knows how she was treated for 4 hours. My cat whom is my dogs best buddy her whole life keeps going up and hissing at her. I have not seen my dog ever this sad and frightened in her 14 years of life. I am devestated that I took her here. Never again.

They do a great job with our poodle cross at a reasonable rate.
