Couldn't be more pleased with the Big Rock Labradoodle experience! Worked with Alana on two recent pup additions to our family (one for ourselves and one for my parents). After first meeting Alana in May on Puppy visitation day I was confident that we had found a professional, knowledgeable, and caring breeder... Our Pup came from the Billboard Hits litter and he was slightly delayed in getting to us due to needing an extra health check and then Alana (and Brent) worked with us to get our little Jack to us sooner and without needing to fly him. We fell in love with our doodle and appreciated all the work that went into creating such a wonderful pup (our pup slept through the night right from day one, was great with his crate training, no accidents in the house...) he was all that we had hoped for and more. Fast-forward 6 months - contacted Alana to get her advice and recommendation on finding a Labradoodle for my parents in short order... 3 days later London from the Capital Cities litter was flown to GP and arrived as an early Christmas present from my Dad to Mum. Alana was efficient in orchestrating it all... this second pup addition process reconfirmed Alana is great at what she does. London has been in his forever home for a month and appears to be another wonderful doodle addition.

I can't say enough about how amazing Big Rock is! Alana has been a rock and such a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate this so much! We love our Scarlet beyond words. Thanks Alana!

We have 2 beautiful labradoodles from Big Rock Labradoodles. Zoey, (Rey, Star Wars Crew) and Winifred (Names of Ole). Zoey is 9 months old and Winnie is 3 months old. This has been a great experience for us. Great family dogs, very loving. Alana continues to be very supportive answering my many questions and giving us good advice.

I got my first doodle from Alana back in 2015 from the retro wheels litter. Her knowledge and care for the puppies is undeniable! I have no doubt believing the stimulation exercises she does with them at such a young age highly impact them in a positive manner in their later years. That being said...we are now up to 3 Big Rock doodles within my parents and I's family. (4 doodles in total) I would highly recommend Big Rock to any future labradoodle owner.

incredibly disappointed with Big Rock Labradoodles. this is how I saw this situation: My family wanted to add another member to their family, but was refused due to a few reasons. My family had decided on a litter, only to find out they would have to wait for the next litter because the puppies in the first were all taken. They were fine with waiting, so they did. Paid the deposit and everything. My mum got an email from Alana saying that my family could take home a puppy from the first litter because there were two left, after being told the first litter was already full (unorganized, no?). My mum told Alana they'd wait for the next litter that was coming up very soon. They agreed to that, they were supposed to let my family know when the litter was born but then Big Rock fell off the face of the earth. I don't know, but to me it sounds like the breeder didn't like that my family wouldn't take the puppy that was offered (immature?). My mother, worried, checked online, only to find out the puppies had been born on October 10th, and she didn't even get an update after being told she would!! So obviously my mother emailed them asking about the puppies and all that. After contacting profusely for 3 months, Alana told my mum she wasn't going to sell her the puppy anymore. Why? Because she's not comfortable talking with my mother because she doesn't feel that my mother could understand (just because English is her second language, you're just going to not talk to her?). And because she doesn't like that my brother was helping make decisions when the dog was mainly for him. My brother wanted a younger puppy, not a puppy that had grown out of their small puppy size. He wanted to raise a puppy from the start, not kind of from the start. If he wanted to a dog but didn't care about the age, he would've adopted one from the shelter. To me, there are great levels of unprofessionalism. First you say one thing then completely go back on it, then you don't own up to the things you say?! In a business, you deal with different people on a daily. You are not allowed to call it quits just because you are having a hard time understanding someone. Your slogan is "growing families since 2011", and you say "It's not just a pet. It's a family member" but you also talk as if they are just pets to sell. I understand the screening process to find good owners for your puppies, but declining because 'you felt they wouldn't understand what you needed to say' is a little immature. Seems more like you just didn't wanna have to deal with it. I've dealt with many breeders, but none as bad as this. This review isn't going to be liked, I know, because they're not gonna like that it's someone younger than them telling them what they're doing wrong and all that. Big Rock talks all high and mighty, but most places that are conceited like that tend to not the best places to go to (statistics). But maybe do some management/business studying for future references lmao. Anyways, just a heads-up to other families out there. No need for everyone else to go through a bad time.
