Spruce Heights Apartments

** been 1 month since my review and no one has contacted me to rectify any of my issues ** I rent at the Spruce Grove location. Beautiful brand new apartments with hardwood floors. That’s about it. Can’t get a hold of any of the building managers, my emails constantly get ignored and the phone number provided is a toll free number so you aren’t even in contact with the people running the specific building you’re in. They enter your suite for inspections constantly, so when you have a question you can’t get a hold of anyone. Which is very inconvenient especially if you have a pet. If date doesn't work for you, they charge you a fee of $75.00 for to reschedule, even though they never even discussed if the date worked for you in the first place. When asking to reschedule with one of the building managers, I was met with rude responses as though it wasn't her problem, and "I signed the lease, so they can enter my apartment". You pay more money to rent here than most other apartments in spruce grove, and you 100% don't receive what you pay. In either customer service, or the building itself. I have asked for an alternative parking spot, as we drive a normal sized truck and the stall is incredibly tiny. Most times we are unable to park in our stall because there is a car on either side and the truck physically won’t fit. I don’t know why we are paying for a stall we can’t use? So far no one has even taken the time to reply to my request. It’s also incredibly hot with minimal air flow. Thank god they at least allow an air conditioner. Hallways constantly stink, or smell like smoke/marijuana. My bedroom window has been cracked since I moved in almost two years ago. Said they would fix it in a few weeks after I moved in, still hasn’t happened. I better not get charged for that when I move out because they “forgot”. There is ZERO hands capped parking stalls. My aunt is in a wheel chair and due to the zero accommodating stalls, she has to park in an area that technically isn’t a parking stall, just so she can get back in her van. My review was originally 4 stars as I was told I would get a rent reduction doing so, but this place isn't even worth my 1 star.

Highly recommend these apartments!!!! The management is great here there all very nice. They have a pet friendly building and a gym which is really nice also have underground parking which is awesome for those cold winters. The apartments are super nice inside suites are huge comes with laundry and everything definitely one of the nicer buildings in spruce grove. Great location lots of amenities close by.

Beautiful apartments,close to amenities however in the last 2 years we have gone though 10 different managers. its been extremely frustrating trying to get a hold of someone, Im constantly talking to a different person when i call or having to explain something multiple times. They do not keep up to date with the maintenance in the building itself, there is people constantly smoking weed and nothing is done about it. And one more then one occasion there has been a BED BUG INFESTATION that they cannot seem to get under control have had to get my apartment sprayed a number of times. as well the current manager tony is quite rude on the phone when asking about an issue. love the apartment itself though but will be highly looking into moving to a new place

Nice apartment, great location, rent is reasonable. But a portable AC unit is a must. Main Floor at least, is 25'C or more with the heat off, even in the middle of winter.

The blank work orders and made up numbers $600 in clesning. That is insane, i deep cleaned rhat entire unit. Clearly NO ONE ever gets their DD back,. You guys make sure of that no matter how much numbers you have to fudge or lies you have to make.. . see you at the hearing. Rented at West Grove, Do not bother cleaning your apartment, or even giving proper notice, as no matter what you do, or how hard you clean they will just keep your full damage deposit anyways. Is it a coincidence that their inflated costs equal your full damage deposit... i think not. I asked to see detailed invoices not just their made up numbers and they are ignoring me. So kiss your damage deposit goodbye when you move, no matter what you do, they will keep it.
