After a couple visits and a small issue Heather became difficult and rude. My dog will not chew, so he had heavy tarter build up that needed to be removed every 6 months. My vet told me Heathers practice was acually not recomended as she is not actually qualified, in fact her technic can damage the enamel. As my dog is now to old to sedate for none emergencies “which the vets do, Heather does not” My vet said all dogs will chew frozen RAW organ meet, and it would remove the tarter almost instantly ... its true, and a secret most vets and clinics like heathers wont tell you about. This service is a cash grab/scam. My dog is now 13 and has some of the nicest whitest teeth ive seen on an old dog. No more $300 teeth cleaning bills for us. Take your dog to a lisenced vet for regular dental check ups, ocasional frozen RAW meat for a treat and cleaning in between. If your dog has skin issues “dry skin” another industry secrect ... Head and Shoulders shampoo, It works amazing !

Heather is a Dog Whisperer. She has a very special way with the dogs. This enables her to clean the dogs teeth without sedation. Her establishment is spotless and she is very knowledgeable with regards to canine health. I would highly recommend her.

Pet owners beware... Heather will overcharge you and hold your pet in the back until you pay whatever amount she has decided on. This is after a set amount was already determined at drop off. When I originally called for a teeth cleaning for my dog I was told the starting point was $150. When I dropped him off that was upped to $180-190. When I arrived to pick up my dog a bill for $257 was waiting for me. When I told the owner that was not what we had discussed she became very rude. She said if I didn't pay, she would take my dog to the SPCA (even though there isn't one in Campbell River, which I didn't know at the time). I am appalled a small business owner would treat clients in this manner. If she was willing to treat me this way, I wonder how she treated my pet while he was in her care. Unacceptable. Will never go back.

Heather loves the dogs in her care and it shows in her work. She is knowledgable and professional. Our dogs are 11 and 13 and are in great health in large part to the dental care Heather has provided.

Very considerate in treating your pet Not in a hurry to finish, more time taken to make the pet comfortable and trusting. Will definitely return for further treatments.
