I have relied on Mr. Pets for info on our 3 reptiles and they've never steered me wrong. I have trusted the staff with boarding our 2 dragons and our leopard gecko while on vacation and everything went fine. Bulk orders for live insects, info, quick stops for gear, etc these guys are the only place you'll need. You'll always get an honest answer from the manager - backed up by her knowledgeable staff. Thanks so much with a special tip of the hat to Rainne and Dylan for all you've done.

I love this store!! All the employees are very friendly and TOTALLY helpful. It's spacious and not crowded, unlike many other stores. And it doesn't have an overwhelming smell, also unlike many other stores. Pet friendly, wide variety of natural products, inexpensive in most regards. And they have stuff on sale, too! Awesome dog and cat treats, and the employees will be happy to recommend ones that seem appropriate for your pet. They have free parking, too! And on Commercial Drive that can be difficult to find.

Fairly good store... Not a huge fan of the manager keeping all her animals there. Selection is okay. There aren't many options for big dogs/hiking gear.

I originally wanted to give this place a far lower rating based on past experiences, but writing this review in present day, I am happy to say my opinion of Mr Pets has improved significantly. The staff are incredibly helpful and know their stuff. I have had some rather particular issues with both my cat and fish, both of which I was able to resolve with a bit of insight from their employees. Prices are decent enough and selection is great.

A large pet store with 2 floors full of products for almost any animal you could think of. On the 2nd floor there are budgies and other assorted bird's along with reptiles and lots of different fish. The staff are friendly and helpful.
