Best place for pet foods that we found. Service is decent too, with good hours and overall convenience. Delivery option is a good add on, but they used FedEx, which is meant for businesses, and not good for residential addresses so that's something I hope PetSmart fixes. Canada Post would be much better for customers since if we miss delivery, it's easy to go pick it up at a post office near by, while FedEx doesn't have that option and you can't tell what time of day they will try to deliver.

It seems that whenever I drop in the items I want are on sale. They sell all kinds of pet things from food and litter to toys and clothing to shampoo and meds and natural remedies...mostly anything you can think of. The only disappointment I ever had was that while they do sell cat grass seed, they don't sell growing cat grass plots. But that doesn't stop me from shopping here regularly. The very expensive cat food that my cats like goes on sale regularly enough that I rarely have to pay full price for it. I also love to check out the front of the store where they often have rescues from Cat Therapy that are available for adoption. PetSmart also has a very large section dedicated to fish and reptiles. I always have a good experience when I'm there. The staff seem genuinely interested in me and my pet concerns. My photos below are kittens from Cat Therapy that I am fostering.

They have everything here, and you can usually find knowledgeable staff...though be careful, not all of the staff have knowledge to match their enthusiasm. Still, with their advice I got a large (40gal) fish tank healthy and alive for six weeks (and hatched new fish). I am a first timer and many things could have gone wrong, but the Petsmart staff gave me all the information and fish junk I needed.

Have had mostly good experiences at this store. Buyer beware on the quality of some items, but the price tag reflects that. Had a bad experience trying to buy gold fish. An employee with short blue hair would not sell fish to someone who didn’t have a 20gal+ tank. Even though the store sold tanks smaller than this. I got a whole speech on goldfish cruelty while two dozen of them lay dead at the bottom of the tank, which featured no gravel or plants for them to interact with. They were clearly feeder fish and not in the best health. So she offered me a beta fish which they keep in these tiny plastic deli containers. Props to the employee for trumpeting animal rights... ehm... but lady, clean house. Went across the bridge to Aquariums West. Great service there.

I go to this store for the selection, 2 huge aisles each of cat and dog food. Plus lots of fish and bird things too. The location is just a short block walk from the skytrain. The prices could make you weep, so all I can say on that note, is that the prices everywhere else seem to be just as bad, if not worse, which is also why I go there. The toy selections are really good too. Very pet friendly, of course, I always meet a new dog friend or 2 when I go there. Also, the cashier was very funny when I accidentally handed her the competitions savings card instead of the PetSmart card. Said it happens all the time. It took me about 15 minutes to spend $52 on cat food, half wet (cans), half dry. My girl is a very happy kitty 🐱 tonight! She keeps going back to her dish for more kibble, like every ten minutes. I may have to ration her severely. CHEERS everyone, love your furry friends, they so deserve it.
