Love this place for grooming! We recommend all of our clients to go there for grooming. We especially love Ashley & Amy's grooming skills along with dog knowledge! They are also willing to make puppy grooms etc a positive experience if you bring some treats etc which makes everyones life so much better! Highly recommend :)

Took my shy and nervous dog here based on past reviews and their website which advertises their all day grooming as being like “a day spa for dogs”. I found this to be completely misleading. Once I dropped him off they basically dragged him into a holding room and put him in a kennel. Not much of a day spa. They weren’t able to get him out of the kennel and called me within one hour of me dropping him off, advising that they would not be able to groom him. He was booked in for an entire day and they advised me this within an hour. When I picked him up I asked for more of an explanation of why they didn’t take their time with him over the course of the day and they said it’s because their business is too busy and recommended that I find a one-on-one style grooming business to take my dog to. I ended up taking him to Stanley Bark groomers downtown and they didn’t know why I made such a big deal about warning them about him being shy and nervous. They took it slow with him (even though it’s appointment based and they had other dogs that day) and they used techniques to calm his anxiety. They did an excellent job. I’m writing this for added context to show that my dog is totally workable with a patient and experienced groomer. I have no doubt that these guys do a great job with a majority of their dogs, but if you have a sensitive dog that needs extra attention, I would recommend considering another groomer, despite how they depict their services on their website.

They are great here, our pup never comes home smelling and is always tired from a day of play and they have structure here which our last daycare did not. They all know my dog by name and I love seeing the facebook photos later

I have two Shepard mixes that regularly come in for their nails. The staff here are amazingly sweet and gentle with them. My dogs may not always be agreeable and the staff lets me know, but it is always with a smile and caring voice. The fact that my dogs love coming back and get excited when they figure out where they're going I think is credit to all the staff. Many thanks.

First go to Better Business Bureau and read how this company hides it's issues, returning a dog to the owner with injuries, performing amateur treatment to mask it and then denying it to boot, only to be found negligent, poor lack of judgement, and not forthcoming with pertinent health information of an animal left in their care. But what did we pay for... .....staff rudeness. .....repeated contradictory (or lack of) reports by staff on any issues .....Urine ladened floors, (ammonia) causes them to perfume your dog when they get covered (which then gets into your vehicle and home.) ...groomer scam of extra charges if your dog won't stand up or is deemed difficult to her. ....All due to poorly trained, lazy and careless employees ....Above due to poor leadership After going to Dapper Dog, your animal may develop ... ...an increase of aggressive behaviour the more it goes (which they won't report until it is too late) ....howling. ...vet bills due to the premises contributing to health issues. (See urine floors) If you want to be sure they are caring properly for your pet drop in unannounced and request to inspect the facility...good luck.
