This place accomodated our corgi while we were in town vacationing. They were great with him and there were ample dogs he made friends with. Seems like a very well run company by people who love dogs! Would definitely use them again!

Caution against all the good reviews left here... Myself and my coworker both left our dogs at Penticton Pet Resort over Labor Day Weekend 2018 while my co-worker was getting married in Naramata. Full details of our experience below, but the headline is that neither dog was fed for their entire stay (10 days and 2 days respectively) and the conditions under which the dogs are kept are extremely misleading. We were a little thrown off upon arriving at Penticton Pet Resort to discover that it's basically a kennel. The photos shown on their website don't accurately reflect the experience, as the first impression of the property is a poorly kept garage lined with crates and cages where the dogs are kept for portions of the day and to sleep. We were then asked to sign the property's agreement, which upon close reading, forces the owner to actively opt-out of the owners having the option to use an electric bark collar on your dog. Despite better judgement, we left our dog in their care. Upon picking her up 2 days later, we discovered none of her food was given to her and she had not eaten for her entire stay. She was also filthy and had clearly been standing in pools of urine. My coworker, whose dog had been at the "resort" for 10 days, had also not been fed and was visibly at least 10lbs lighter. Both dogs were completely off in their behaviour. We were obviously upset at the discovery and asked the staff what had happened. After asking if she had been fed or offered her food, thehe first staff member, a young girl, replied, "I have no idea, I haven't fed her," with a completely non-chalant attitude. We then demanded to speak with the owner, Lindsay. When Lindsay arrived, she first insisted that the dogs had been fed, before finally admitting that she didn't know if that was the case and acquiesced that they hadn't when we showed all of the food we had left with them was still in its containers. She also admitted that the dogs had diarrhea and that a bug was present among the dogs at the resort. To her credit, Lindsay refunded the cost of both dogs' stay, but her attitude was less genuine and apologetic than it was trying to excuse the incident and blame it on her staff. Based on all the other seemingly satisfied customers of this resort, it seems we are the exception and not the rule - but I still cannot sufficiently urge anyone considering leaving their dog here to find another option. The staff Lindsay blamed the incident on was completely disengaged and it makes me cringe to think of them neglecting any dog. The next day after we picked up our dog, she vomited 3 times, possibly with blood. We're still investigating this as it progresses and we don't know if it's linked to her stay at Penticton Pet Resort, but we're definitely suspicious based on the facts of her stay.

BEST place to leave your dog in the Penticton area. We've been doing so for the past 8 years, and Jasper the Chocolate Labrador always comes home SO happy AND exhausted from happy play.
