Fernando helped my dog (large guardian mastiff type) who came to me as an adult when no one else knew what to do with his deep-rooted fear of people and insecurity. Fernando uses balanced training which includes both negative and positive reinforcement, and the negative reinforcement is a consequence for an action that could lead to hurting someone or something. I know there are plenty dogs out there that can get by on 100% positive reinforcement but a dog that could hurt someone if unchecked is why so many of them are put down: because people aren't willing to put them in check. Please do your research on trainers; it is pretty much a widely-known fact that Fernando uses e-collars as a controlled mechanism of reinforcing verbal commands and they can eventually be weaned off, later requiring only verbal commands (as in my dog's case 99% of the time). Fernando is successful in behaviorally training dogs that many trainers are not successful in training because he understands that not one size fits all in dog training. It is pretty likely that an educated dog trainer who makes his living off behaviorally shaping puppies and adult dogs that other trainers refer people to knows what he is doing and if he feels an e-collar can be used for the future welfare/quality of life of the dog and his family, I'd trust it, and I did, which changed my dog's life, and I forever thank him and recommend him to anyone in a similar situation.

Great guy will help you with your dog needs

We have been bringing our 1 1/2 year old puppy for about 6 months, and we greatly appreciated the facility, he seemed to have fun, and they were always available last minute if we needed care. HOWEVER, today when our pup came home, we found a SHOCK collar on him. We realise now that this facility is fully supportive of this type of training, however we were unaware that this was happening. We do not agree with this type of training and had we known this was happening we would not have been sending him there. Absolutely ridiculous in our opinion that a facility would be using these devices on dogs without the owners knowledge. This isnt about whether shock collars are good or bad, this is about the facility not sharing with us that they are deciding to train our dog in a way that we do not agree with, without consulting with us first. VERY angry, disappointed and appalled by this. We will NEVER be sending our pup back.

Didn't use any of the training facilities, but did use the doggy day care a few times and have had no negative experiences. Had always been a pleasant experience, and the girls seem to definitely give the dogs attention. Will be a returning customer when I leave the country again.
