Took 2 dogs in to get groomed and came out with one dog still wet with mats and the other dog still with a thick coat and a blow dry treatment and no haircut (except the bangs and feet). Was told that it takes multiple appointments for my dogs to become comfortable and that I signed a waiver accepting liability for anything that happens during the appointment, including their ability to not perform the services. I don’t understand why you would offer grooming if you are not able to perform the task, as I don’t know many dogs who stay calm during an appointment with a vet or groomer. I was also told that my dog suffered a dementia attack because he was so old. Even google doesn’t know what a dog dementia attack is... SUPER UNIMPRESSED AND WILL NOT RETURN. I recommend you prepare for your dog to come out ungroomed if they are a young puppy or old dog, especially if they have MATS. Apparently mats can be avoided with everyday grooming... just so you know... so if you don’t brush your dogs hair every day don’t even bother bringing them here, as it will only be a “traumatic experience” with no results. Don’t worry though, they will charge you for the blow dry that they performed on your dog... even though you can bath, blow dry, and throw a bandana on your dog in the comfort of your own home for free.

Great service. The girls are great with the dogs and understand the importance of stress reduction in a dog daycare/grooming environment 10/10

I took my puppy to Watson Hound Lounge last fall and she seemed to have a good time, but there is one complaint that I have about the place. Keep in mind that I am in no way easily grossed out, but when I walked in the strong smell of urine almost made me vomit! I was hoping that maybe that wasn't a regular thing for them but just an off day, but I haven't been keen on returning since.

My dog has been going to Watson’s 2-5 days a week since she was 3 months old. She is now almost 2 and with no notice a newer employee at the front told me she wasn’t aloud back. She told me it was because she was acting dominant over the 3 new employees they had in the back and they didn’t know how to deal with a large dog acting that way. This was absolutely shocking to me that they couldn’t deal with a dog that’s been there every second day since she could fit on one hand. She is extemely well socialized between dog parks and daycare and I’ve NEVER seen this behaviour from my dog but she does take a couple minutes to trust new ppl which they knew about so obviously didn’t introduce the new employees properly. A year ago I would’ve given a 5 star rating when they had a full team of staff with dog experience but it’s too inconsistent now so wouldn’t recommend taking your dog there.
