Where do I begin? The shuttle only option was not available. The Tube Shack staff did not seem to have any idea what was going on. The person at the window taking payment didn’t actually know how much to charge and had to ask another staff member. We were given no direction as to which tubes to take or where to get in the water. We paid extra for one member of our group to have an upgraded tube due to a back surgery, yet he was given the same basic tube as everyone else. Once on the river, we quickly realized that you NEED paddles, which everyone else around us seemed to have, but we were not given any. The river is very slow, in fact it doesn’t move in some places. We had to swim until a nearby family was kind enough to give us their extra paddle. The float was fun but ended up taking us well over 3 hours. At the end, the spot to get out was well-marked. I was horribly disgusted to see that the shuttle driver was standing directly beside the shuttle, smoking a cigarette while she waited for it to fill up. Gross way to end our experience!

Amazing experience. For those that care, there are only a few places where rocks will touch your bum. That’s something I hate about tubing down streams at other spots. It’s relaxed, the rental is quick and easy. The staff is helpful. They’ll hold on to your keys. You can also sign your waivers online which is quite convenient.

Such a blast!! Highly recommended, the river is beautiful and so clear you can see right down to the bottom, amazing for all ages, it takes about 3 hours to get to little beach so bring water (or ciders ;)) and sun protection. You can pay for a tube and a shuttle or just the shuttle if you have your own floaties. Parking near the tubing area is free.

Good for relaxing, but don’t expect a fast exciting ride. First time river tubing, the process was fairly smooth. If you want more movement and action, go with the donut floats and not the boat ones.

Went with my family (kids 8 and 12). Well organized. Tubes were comfortable. Option with bottom in for little kids. Float was nice and having the shuttle back was helpful and quick. Friendly service.
