I love my rescue boy and have to say that the volunteers at Cat's Cradle went the extra mile to take care of him and ensure that the adoption process was seamless. Thanks to the wonderful fosters and volunteers for rescuing my sweet little man.

They do good work with rescue cats. Good selection of clothes, books and other goods. My favorite second hand store in Sidney

I feel this rescue organization is irresponsible. We adopted 2 kittens, 3 and 4 months-old, from them. One of the kittens got very sick at 8 months old, and ended up dying, after we spent $400 on a check up and blood work. The vet suspected a fatal cat disease, FIP, which kittens can contract from some multi-cat homes and rescue centres. CCAR told us both kittens were girls, but when we took the kittens for their first vet check-up, the vet informed us that the 3 month-old is a BOY! Did Cats Cradle not give the kittens a check-up at the vet before adopting them out? How did they miss the gender of the kitten? Also, the vet informed us that the kittens had missed their booster vaccines and would require both vaccines again!! I am sure this compromised the kittens’ immune system. When we found out the kittens were a boy and girl instead of 2 girls, we asked the vet to schedule the spay and neuter right away, but they were too booked up by other appointments that they kittens started to mate. Why did CCAR not spay and neuter the kittens before adopting them out? I contacted CCAR to let them know that one of the kittens had died and the other kitten was lonely and missing her brother, and inquired of they could they could offer another kitten to us, they told me they had too many other applicants ahead of me and that I should look elsewhere! There was no empathy for our situation! I do not recommend this organization!!
