Alpine plant world has a decent selection of plants but lacks many supplies/tools. Their prices are uncompetitive and their products fail to give the customer all the choices that should be available to them. I recently overheard the shop owner complaining about loosing business. That is unlikely to change as long as they continue to have uncompetitive prices, fail to offer superior products and provide ornery, argumentative service.

The plant products of this store is much needed for those green thumbs and budding green thumbers!! The questions I asked were answered but with very little information. I googled after I left the store for what I needed to do for the plant products I purchased. I felt that I had to and did excuse the inhospitable customer service. Besides the lack of welcoming approach the Alpine Plant world is overall great to have...and is needed!! Thank you.

Gruff but friendly and knowledgeable service. The guy was not a salesman and his honesty probably worked against him. What you want when growing in a northern climate
