I volunteered there, I donated a lot of stuff and they treated me like trash. The were rude with my kid too. They told us not to touch the kitties. What a joke this shelter is. So, we were allowed to clean the cat poop, the litter, but not to touch the kitties. Moronic thinking. And that fat cow that runs the place. Cats are kept in cages most of the time, what kind of life is that. For months and months in a row. It is no kill and no life shelter. The adoption fee is outrageous. 200 dollars for a cat. What kind of attitude is this to encourage people to adopt? Extremely disgusted. And it is far away, in an ugly environment, the place is not very well kept, the building is small and ugly and I could go on and on. I will never go back there.

Great place. From what I recall they were the first non-kill shelter. I had the pleasure to work with the owner a number of years back on a fundraiser project and I went to there gala dinner.

Got my baby girl here and they were extremely helpful and and pleasant through the adoption process. Now we get our pup food there too it's a really great shelter.

Nice place to adopt a animal but seems they expect u to buy a 30.00 bag of food as part of the contract. Why? What happens if u dont want to feed the animal that brand. Yr stuck with it. Also a lot of the shots are not covered in the adoption, not like other rescues. All animals seen to not get spayed ur nurtured until adopted out, not like the other rescues that do right away. Seems odd. But they are doing great things for animals that otherwise wouldn't have gotton this far

Very kind, and inviting staff and location. They accepted an injured songbird from me despite the fact that they do not take birds as a rule.
