Great care given. Very knowledgeable

This was our family's first experience using a Kennelling Service for our dog Luna (a 12 week old Shepherd/Husky mix). From our initial conversation over the phone, until the morning we picked up Luna, our experience was nothing less than wonderful. The owners were not only extremely kind and knowledgeable, but their facility was immaculate. We would definitely recommend using Aldergold Kennels and look forward to using them in the future.

Excellent kennel. We have used this kennel several times in the last two years. I know our dogs have lots of fun and exercise while they are there because they are so excited to go back. The owners are clearly very knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviours. I would highly recommend this kennel.

Never again! We took our two small very timid dogs this morning to board for the weekend. The owner said that one of the dogs snapped at him as he was pushing the dog into the kennel. They told my husband they would not board them and to take the dogs home. My son is getting married in Halifax tomorrow ! I do not believe that the dog snapped at him. We have had this dog for 5 years and he is very gentle. He has never even growled at anyone. This is so unprofessional when they can't be depended on to provide the service that they agreed to. Upon reading another review I can't help but wonder if this is because I had to cancel earlier this year and this is their mean-spirited response.

Great Kennel ! The owner is experienced with the dogs and it shows. My dog is always in great shape at pick up and he's tired so I know he's had exercise and in fact was happy to go back the second time I needed to leave him.
