I had the best pet experience at Paulmac's Pets in Milton. Amanda and Tamara both went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly. They both provided real-life examples to make me feel comfortable. I will continue to go to this location for their great service. Thanks Amanda and Tamara.

Products are a little pricey. Love the fact that they have a dog wash available for $10 (includes shampoo, conditioner, towels, apron, blow dryer and even treats). Every 6 washes, you get one free. Staff is friendly and helpful.

PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE!! I recently adopted a bunny from Paulmacs who was so sick she had an INFESTATION of mites in her ears so bad that she was scabbed and twitching every day - she also had a upper respiratory infection (please look at the pictures I attached) and has sneezing fits every hour. She is so sick and the employees told me that they would NOT take her to the vet because it would cause them to have a LOSS. Essentially, they were going to let this bunny die. LIVE ANIMALS ARE COMMODITIES TO PAULMACS AND THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR WELFARE. This little bunny has already cost me $400 in vet bills but she is the sweetest, snuggle bunny who does not want to die. Please do not support any store that sells live animals. They are cruel and do not deserve to run a business. (Luckily the bunny is not dead in the picture, she has swollen eyes that do not shut because of her sickness.)

Nice store with a great selection of everything pet related. The staff were all helpful and attentive. In particular Amber was very friendly and pointed us in the right direction. Customer service really does make the difference and you guys deserve 5 stars!!

Nice store and very nice staff, be careful on staff expertise depending on the pet you are purchasing. I'm torn writing this review because the staff are friendly and courteous and we enjoy vising to see the animals and buy our supplies there. The issue was when I purchased 2 "female" rats from Paulmac's in August. I was told there were 4 females to choose from in the cage and since rats are highly social animals they should at minimum live in pairs for companionship. So I purchased 2 "females". Fast forward to October I now have 11 rats to care for. I was actually sold 1 female and 1 male (not 2 females). I did speak with store management immediately after the litter appeared to understand what could be done. They were unable to help me with taking the baby rats, nor could they provide me much information about the origin of the rats (rat breeder, genetic lineage etc). Luckily I found a GTA breeder that was willing to take on the care of the babies and the mother for the time being, but understandably they wanted to know their genetic history. At the end of the day I am now left trying to find homes for 9 baby rats...something I never would have signed up for. I was told afterwards that they "can't guarantee gender" but this was not indicated whatsoever at the time of purchase...I was a told I was getting 2 females. Long story short...do you own homework and don't blindly take pet store advice at face value. Know what you are getting. Based on this situation I certainly wish now that I'd gone to a knowledgeable breeder in the first place.
